These figures are the best that can be provided given that the scorebook for 1927 is missing. While there is extensive coverage of Greenock's games in the local and national press, quite often full bowling analyses are not provided. This is especially the case for friendly games. The figures for the four main bowlers are the ones that have been made available at the end of the season.
In some cases, the sum of the dismissal types does not equal the number of wickets that a batsman has taken. This is due to the fact that the scorecard details for the tour game with Colonel Joicey's XI that are available do not show the mode of dismissals for the opposition batsmen.
