Greenock play Cricket Scotland President's XI on Sunday 26th August
A special match to celebrate the Club’s 150th anniversary is taking place on Sunday 26th August when a Cricket Scotland President’s XI comes to Glenpark. Numerous past and present Scottish internationalists will feature in the team.
The format for the afternoon will be a 30 overs-a-side match with a 12noon start.
Present at the game will be many Past Presidents and Past captains of the Club and it is hoped that there will be a large turnout of members and friends to enjoy the afternoon.
The Cricket Scotland XI has named the following players in their squad to play at Glenpark: Neil McCallum, Paul Hoffman, Douglas Lockhart, Gregor Maiden, Bruce Patterson, Andy Tennant, Michael Powell, Gordon Drummond, Ewan Chalmers, Ryan Flannigan, Gordon Goudie, Tony Judd and Andy Goram.
The Greenock line-up for the game is likely to be from: Ryan Begley(Capt), Alex Baum, Richie Berrington, Christopher Hempsey, Jonathan Hempsey, Waleed Jamal, Greg McDougall, Shailesh Prabhu, Dewald Nel, Peter Robertson, Mpho Sekhoto, Fraser Watts, Dougie Wylie.
