1st XI no match for Carlton's batsmen

The 1st XI slumped to a third league defeat in a row, losing by 8 wickets to Carlton at Grange Loan. A better batting performance, highlighted by 16-year-old Alex Baum's maiden 50 for the Club, was not sufficient to withstand the heavy Carlton batting artillery. Glenpark XI lose unbeaten record

The Glenpark XI surrendered their unbeaten league record when they went down by just 9 runs to Hamilton in another tense and close encounter at Glenpark. Dave 'the Snake' Sharma reveals the devastating details in his latest report.

Rowan Cup tie postponed

Thursday's Rowan Cup-tie with Ferguslie has been postponed due to rain. A new date has yet to be scheduled. Also, the Glenpark XI's Glasgow Cup tie with Torrance House at Glenpark has been moved from Tuesday 18th May to Thursday 20th May.

Another away trip awaits the 1st XI this week as they head to Edinburgh to play Carlton in what is likely to be another difficult encounter. The Glenpark XI look to build on their unbeaten start to the season, home this week to Hamilton, whilst the Hillend XI appear for the first time this season on Sunday against Clydesdale. Richie Berrington is likely to feature on Sky Sports on the same day when Scotland take on Leicestershire in the Pro40 competition.

1st XI see off Ferguslie challenge in Scottish Cup

An unbeaten 109 from Richie Berrington sees Greenock safely through to the second round of the Scottish Cup, chasing down Ferguslie's total of 253 for 8 for a five wickets win. In the next round, they will play Stirling County at New Williamfield on Sunday 6th June. Peter Hempsey describes the action.
